Fun Contest ~ Montreal Family Photographer

In light of my upcoming birth I thought I would have a fun contest for all my fans and previous clients.

It is simple….just guess when the baby will be born in the comment field below.

You *must* enter a date and time.

A little background:

This is my third child.

My first son was late, and I was induced 2 days after my due date. I was in labor for 18 hours and had him at 3:41 AM.

My second son came 10 days early. I was in labor for 6 hours and had him at 12:05 pm.

During my 20 week Ultrasound the Doctor said he/she (it is a surprise) was measuring small.

At my Obgyn appointment last week she said the baby was neither small nor big and should be the same size as my last baby which was 7lbs 8oz.

I am now 28 weeks pregnant and my estimated due date is July 23rd.

I am so excited to offer these limited edition Mothers day Mini Sessions. But it isn’t limited only to mothers…good for so many occasions, maybe to celebrate a child’s age, how about for some engagement shots, bridals, siblings, oh the possiblities!!

Everyone must know by now that I am expecting our 5th child (yes FIVE!!) and with that I want to squeeze in as many sessions with you as possible before it becomes impossible So what better way to honour motherhood and the miracle of birth by giving all of you a great opportunity!

Of course I do have limited space. The all inclusive fee does need to be paid in full in order for me to secure your spot for that day. I still haven’t decided where I will be shooting, but I do have a few favourite places in mind!

It is so touching to see a couple so in love, and so sweet to see a man be able to show his affection to his wife. This couple was just wonderful, seriously there is no doubt the love that bonds them together!

I can only imagine how much closer their baby boy will bring them. You are both beautiful inside and out, and I am sure you will make incrediable parents. There is no sweeter gift you can give a child than true love between their parents.

I can’t wait to meet the little one!

What a fun session this was….I love when my clients tell me they want anything BUT traditional. It pushes me to see beyond the four walls and really come up with something fun and spontaneous. I think it was a success.

Plus this was done in Ste. Sauveur….and the first time I shot a session outdoors in the winter…I loved it!

I can’t wait to meet your little muffin and see you again, it was such a pleasure working with you!

I have so much to be thankful for, beautiful children, a wonderful hubby, and the job of my dreams. I have to give thanks to each and every client, without you I wouldn’t be where I am today, thank you for making this year such a successful one. I never imagined that something I had such passion for could possibly go this far. I am in awe. I am humbled and I have all of you to thank for it.

I wanted to give back to all of you, and so, I picked my top 20 photos of 2009…and trust me….it was soooo hard. I love each and every session for different reasons, each photo I chose isn’t necessarily the best photographically but some just mean a lot to me.

How does it work?

Ok starting now…until midnight on January 13th, 2010 there will be an anonymous pole. Anybody can vote, but you are limited to one vote per person (and yes I will be checking). I want this to be absolutely fair because the prizes are going to be awesome (UPDATED!!).

Pregnancy radiates beauty from the inside out. There is just something so special about a woman’s body encasing her unborn child.

I know when I was pregnant, I didn`t feel rediant at all, in fact, I felt the exact opposite. I felt huge, uncomfortable and so unattractive. I wish I could have seen through someone else`s eyes. This is why I suggest people do the maternity session, even if you don`t see your beauty…I DO and it is so important for me to show you what I see through my eyes. Because even if you don`t feel radiant, oh you are! And I am sure you will miss it.

“You’re gonna miss this, you’re gonna want this back. You’re gonna wish these days hadn’t gone by so fast. These are some good times, so take a good look around. You may not know it now, but you’re gonna miss this.”

The location we went to was gorgeous which only enhanced the beauty and the love between this beautiful couple. Thank you for being radiant! Thank you for being you!

Life Defining Moments : Montreal Maternity Photographer

I think carrying your unborn child qualifies as a life defining moment. That very moment you find out, to the first time you really you *see* them on the ultrasound, to the moment you are sure you felt them moving inside of you, to the very second before you are about to give birth and meet the baby you and your husband created. Pregnancy is a moment in time you need to capture in a photograph to keep forever. It is a miraclous time in a couples life!

Fabianna, it was such a pleasure meeting you and your husband. I look forward to meeting your little girl soon!

How else could I describ pregnancy…beside that woman really do glow from the inside out. Plus it just never gets old, there is nothing more beautiful than a pregnant woman.

Emmie, you were no exception to this rule, you are truly beautiful. You carry your baby so perfectly! Your tiny little round belly, and your smile…says it all.
