Special Day ~ Montreal Child Photographer

While I rarely do events (except weddings with a wonderful partner), I agreed to go and photograph this beautiful girl on her communion day before the celebration.

Both her and her sister were just gorgeous (and photogenic may I add) and I am so happy I agreed!

Such cute little girls but to get one photo of the two of them together…impossible!

Mom was asking me did I get pictures of my four kids together and I had to laugh…v.e.r.y. rarely!!!!

Even though I was unable to get that perfect picture of the two sisters together, I got such sweet individual photos I hope it will make up for it.

Fun Contest ~ Montreal Family Photographer

In light of my upcoming birth I thought I would have a fun contest for all my fans and previous clients.

It is simple….just guess when the baby will be born in the comment field below.

You *must* enter a date and time.

A little background:

This is my third child.

My first son was late, and I was induced 2 days after my due date. I was in labor for 18 hours and had him at 3:41 AM.

My second son came 10 days early. I was in labor for 6 hours and had him at 12:05 pm.

During my 20 week Ultrasound the Doctor said he/she (it is a surprise) was measuring small.

At my Obgyn appointment last week she said the baby was neither small nor big and should be the same size as my last baby which was 7lbs 8oz.

I am now 28 weeks pregnant and my estimated due date is July 23rd.

I am so excited to offer these limited edition Mothers day Mini Sessions. But it isn’t limited only to mothers…good for so many occasions, maybe to celebrate a child’s age, how about for some engagement shots, bridals, siblings, oh the possiblities!!

Everyone must know by now that I am expecting our 5th child (yes FIVE!!) and with that I want to squeeze in as many sessions with you as possible before it becomes impossible So what better way to honour motherhood and the miracle of birth by giving all of you a great opportunity!

Of course I do have limited space. The all inclusive fee does need to be paid in full in order for me to secure your spot for that day. I still haven’t decided where I will be shooting, but I do have a few favourite places in mind!

I have to admit, it was quite challenging to work with not one but two tiny babies, they are little cuddle bugs and so sweet!

I can only imagine how you feel, you look amazing!

I have so much to be thankful for, beautiful children, a wonderful hubby, and the job of my dreams. I have to give thanks to each and every client, without you I wouldn’t be where I am today, thank you for making this year such a successful one. I never imagined that something I had such passion for could possibly go this far. I am in awe. I am humbled and I have all of you to thank for it.

I wanted to give back to all of you, and so, I picked my top 20 photos of 2009…and trust me….it was soooo hard. I love each and every session for different reasons, each photo I chose isn’t necessarily the best photographically but some just mean a lot to me.

How does it work?

Stop and smell the Roses ~ Montreal Family Photographer

It seems Children are born with this instinct, it is only as we get older that we tend to forget this….so here is a little reminder of all the beautiful reasons we should stop, look, enjoy and savour every moment.

I have always loved this quote, and with this little princess and her flower, it just reminded me of it. With every child, it takes some time to warm up to me, even though you will remember this family. Our journey together started here and then continued here. I just need to find the one thing that softens the kids up and voila! For N, it was this flower pin, I had bought a bunch as props, and she adored it

Then there was her little brother, I can not get over how he has grown. They look so much alike now that he is really starting to grow.

This family has become one that I hold close to my heart. I love when I meet a family and there is an instant bond. I really felt that from the get go and I feel really blessed to be able to capture all these wonderful moments in their lifes for them. E, I really think your family is a special one!!

The magical lighting still follows them as well.

The little things ~ Montreal Family & Child Photographer

There were so many little things that I loved about this session…

The way Little L, right in middle of playing , would stop, pose and smile.

Her dimple.

That sparkle in the baby’s big brown eyes.

The way mom, even though she has 3 little one’s under 6, was so calm and always smiling.

And Dad who got into the session and the fun just as much as the rest of us (trust me…this is not always the case:)

Boys, toys… cars, motorcycles…yes, this was any boys dream session. As a mom of 3 boys, I know.

Most boys are so eager to play and have fun, so easy to please and just sweethearts. These two were no exception…I couldn’t get enough of their sweet smiles and playful grins!

I could have spent all day with your family N…your two boys have so much character and are way too adorable for words. I think these pictures will totally speak for themselves….

Turning 2: Montreal Child Photographer

A little girl only turns two years old once…and what a cutie she is. She had all of her friends & family over and everyone had a blast. The weather turned out perfectly even though mom was so worried it was going to rain!

Recognize this next little guy? I can not get over how big he has gotten…he is still such a sweetie, and calm natured just little his mommy but identical to his Dad, yup it is mini moe!
