1) What is your take on Custom Photography and how important is it to you to capture these moments in your life through photography?

I wouldn’t have it any other way. Custom photography is so heartfelt and personalized. After our first session with Melanie, we knew that we would be repeat clients. No amount of money can buy memories, especially with the ability Melanie has to capture those special moments in photos – which would otherwise live only in our minds!

2) How did you hear about mellanieD Photography and what drew you to her as a photographer?

We met Melanie at ‘Babies R’ Us’ during a baby fair before our first child was born. Little did we know that day that we were meeting someone who would become so special to us and our lives! She was truly captivating and left us with an awesome feeling of excitement! It wasn’t long after that we booked our first of 4 sessions (so far) with her!

3) Would you recommend your friends and family members to invest in a Custom Photographer and why?

ABSOLUTELY, and have done so on many occasions thus far! Melanie immediately makes a point of knowing you and your taste and personalizes her photography based on what you will LOVE. This alone is why we will never use another custom photographer!

4) How would you describe a typical session with Mellanied Photography?

Last but not least… we mustn’t forget their other baby… he was practically begging me to take some pictures,  ready in this pose without asking, just looking at me with those puppy dog eyes…one of the easiest babies ever!

*chuckle chuckle*

I hate to say it, but he really is Moe`s double. The more I look at these pictures the more I see it, I know, I know…we carry the babies for 9 months and out they come looking exactly like Dad!!! Go figure! But he is as cute as can be! Even if I only spent a few hours with him, I`d have to say he has your calm nature, so there, at least he has something from you He barely made a peep the whole time I was there, although he was wide awake for the most part,such a little sweetheart he is!

Welcome to my new blog… I am so excited about this and I am going to start it off with some good news!

I am so pleased to open with the announcement of the winners from the contest I held at Babies R Us for Baby Fest this past Saturday; where I displayed some of my work and got to meet so many of you. Yup, you heard it right…winners, plural. While I had promised one free session, I decided to start off New Year being generous. Three  lucky people will get a free session with mellanied photography a value of 100$ !!

Since I had so much fun meeting all of you, and being a mom myself I know just how important it is to create special memories.
