Here was one of four families to jump on the mini sessions I offered this past month.

I have to be honest that I am still on the fence about offering these, since everything about my photography business is about taking the time necessary.

Without rushing, without stress,

with originality, catered to each and every family.

Having a 30 minute time frame with young children makes this near impossible and it is very hard for me to let that go.

But, I do realize that the economy isn’t exactly the best right now, and I do realize that people may just want a couple of nice art pieces for their home.

She is a natural, right? I did not in any way pose her at all, she did it all on her own, and could have continued, she loved it.

She was even following my lead on positioning her mama, she would copy my words and guide her, mimic me and show her…no mommy,

My last child (yes for sure! five is plently.and carmine got fixed. done. finito. no more babies. LOL) so she just turned one as you know, and I think I can really appreciate everything that comes with it now.

It just makes my heart happy.

I love all my children, no doubt, and every age brings new discoveries, new phases, and a new appreciation but as a photographer…I have to say this age is awesome.

This little beauty was no different. I could not get over just how smart she was…seriously. I know, I know, every parent thinks their child is the smartest child, but she really just understands things a one year usually doesn’t.

And boy oh boy can she wiggle that bum. TOO cute.

I think Child Birth definitely qualifies as one of those “worth it” moments. The very fact that we can actually make a baby in our bodies is without a doubt miraculous. Seriously, from a little bean into a baby with arms, legs, two eyes, a heart and a brand new, innocent, pure soul.

Well you will recognize this beautiful location from the maternity photos I did about a month or so back. I immediately got inspired when I walked into their home for the first time, the light in there is a photographers dream! I thought the maternity session was great, but check out their newest edition, he is so perfect.

A little old italian man, as mom said, with his wrinkly forehead. This little guy is unbelievably alert for a newborn, he just didn’t want to sleep for us, though you would never know from the photos, he always wanted to keep one eye open, and not miss a thing, already at such a young age. 

Then there was his little feet, look at these photos, and notice, just how very cute he is, he always wanted to sprawl his legs, in fact, when he was born, he came out with them straight out, so i thought it was perfect to get some shots of Gabriel being Gabriel. Already such a personality,  so calm yet determined, so peaceful but also very alert and eager to see the world around him. Congrats Emmie & Nick, he is beautiful in every way!
