My sweet baby Girl Eva Lauretta was born July 9th, 2010 @ 8:22 pm.

Her middle name being the middle name of my gramma who passed away when I was 9 years old but that I still think of and love dearly.

Eva is perfect in every way. I feel so blessed!

Every minute of discomfort and all the sickness I went through during the pregnancy is long forgotten just by having her in my arms.

Here are some pictures I have been taking of my little sweetness :D

NOW… to announce the winner of my contest…

The one who got closest to the actual birth day is JULIE! My wonderful, talented,  supportive friend all the way from Wisconsin. She is a photographer as well :)

Now since she is so far, she was generous enough to pass along her 50% off a fall session with mellanied photography.

When I asked her how she would choose a name, we came up with a fun little idea.

Now- this will not only be open to the entries of the contest but also open to anyone. All you have to do is convince Julie as to why you deserve to be the winner, right here in the comment section below.

This will be open only for one week. Then Julie will make the choice as to who she thinks deserves to get her winnings :)

Susan - We were lucky enough to be Melanie's final shoot before she had her beautiful daughter. In spite of the fact that my son hadn't slept the night before, and cried through most of the shoot,Melanie caught some amazing moments! I would like to offer this gift to my sister, who just had her second child- a little brother for my niece. When my son was born, my sister was there for me 24 hours a day. There was no such thing as too late to call or too early to come over. She listened to me, supported me, and helped me through those first few difficult months. On top of being my lifeline, she worked full time and cared for her two year old daughter. She is an incredible mother who has always put her daughter's needs ahead of her own. My nephew is lucky to be born into a home filled with unconditional love. kristina - I was lucky enough to meet Mel in August 2009 and she captured the essence of my daughter so perfectly. My friend Cathy has 2 young children and is an amateur photographer. She is the most sincere and genuine person I know. She is kind, funny and most of all she is a wonderful friend and mother. She gives her kids 120% and then goes to work in a daycare where she gives 120% to other peoples kids! She has never had the kids professionally photographed and I know a gift like this would not make her day, but most likely her year!!!!!! Dori - I had such an incredible experience with Mel and I would like to share that experience with my dear friend who is due in the fall by giving her a gift certificate for a session. She has been such an amazing friend and is truely a wonderful person. She and her husband always have so much fun together. They have a beautiful little girl who is very excited to be a big sister. There is so much love in that family and I think Mel will have so much fun capturing it! So....I feel that I should win, not because I deserve it but because she does.July 21, 2010 - 3:19 pm
